Stegall recently finished the darkly comedic score for Voltage Pictures / Anchor Bay’s 2012 release of ‘Breathless’ starring Val Kilmer, Ray Liotta, Gina Gershon, and Kelli Giddish. Lorna (Gershon) a strong-willed Texas woman who’s had enough of her untrustworthy husband Dale’s (Kilmer) criminal acts and lack of husbandry. Fed up, she enlists the help of her old friend, Tiny (Giddish), to help her figure out what to do with the hapless Dale while they medicate themselves with only the best of prescriptions, Tennessee whiskey – which leads them to bigger problems.

Suspense-thriller Saluda al diablo de mi parte secures U.S. theatrical distribution in Cannes 2011 screened as a part of ‘Le Marché du Film‘ May 13th and May 17th! New Trailer Here! In addition to the U.S., theatrical distribution this fall through Maya Entertainment was sold to multiple foreign territories including Canada (Mongrel), UK (Revolver), Australia (Madman), France (Wild Side), Germany (Senator), Peru/ Ecuador/Bolivia (Star), Turkey (Calinos), Middle East, and Indonesia (Pt Amero). Jermaine scores ‘Blood Out’ for Lionsgate

Lionsgate is releasing the new film Blood Out on DVD and Blu-Ray starring Val Kilmer, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, Luke Goss, Vinnie Jones, Tamer Hassan, Ed Quinn and AnnaLynne McCord. When big city detectives refuse to further investigate his kid brother’s gang related murder, small town Sheriff Michael Spencer drops the badge and goes undercover to find his brother’s killer and avenge his death. Jermaine Stegall recently provided additional score written for the hit franchise film Scream 4. Ten years have passed, and Sidney Prescott, who has put herself back together thanks in part to her writing, is visited by the Ghostface Killer. Varese Sarabande will be releasing Marco Beltrami’s score soundtrack digitally and on CD April 19th.

Stegall completed the score to the original t.v. movie ‘Mandrake‘ for Syfy channel. First airing September 11th 2010, and now available everywhere on DVD through Lionsgate Home Entertainment. With a truly ethnic, yet orchestral flare the score to ‘Mandrake‘ truly digs deep in its primal roots. Mandrake makes its DVD premiere this April from Lionsgate. Featuring a cast of film and TV favorites including Max Martini (TV’s “Lie to Me”), Betsy Russell (Saw 3D: The Final Chapter), Jon Mack (TV’s Mongolian Death Worm), Nick Gomez (HBO’s “Treme“) and Benito Martinez (SAW), the original film made its television debut on SyFy to 1.5 million viewers.

Adventurer Darren McCall (Martini) and his team set out on a mission through the jungle to retrieve a fabled bejeweled dagger from an ancient burial ground. The group thinks that they are in for a wealth of riches, but pulling the dagger from its rightful resting place unleashes a beast. Half plant and half animal, the massive mandrake awakens thirsty… for human blood. Directed by Tripp Reed.

Voltage Pictures Hosts DGA Screening for ‘Escapee’

The musical score to Escapee can be described as a psychological, motivic, avant garde, yet industrial at times. Escapee stars Dominic Purcell, Kadeem Hardison, Faith Ford, Melissa Ordoway, and Scott Elrod. While on a class observation trip at a local mental hospital, young psychology major Abby Jones (Christine Evangelista), has a chilling encounter with high-risk patient, Harmon Porter (Dominic Purcell) who finds a new obsession in Abby.

Secure in Officer Carter’s (Scott Elrod) cocoon of safety, Abby and Lynn (Carly Chaikin) continue studying into the wee hours of the morning seemingly sheltered from the horrific events happening around them. As the girls sleep, the storm takes a turn for the worse, darkening the neighborhood and trapping them in Harmon’s web of terror. (Directed by Campion Murphy). Coming summer of 2011 to DVD and BLU-RAY via Voltage Pictures!
